The Commemorative Air Force Wings Over Houston is bringing some of our favorite performers and some new ones we can't wait to see in action! This is an exciting event for me not only because I'll be attending for the second time, but also because my family will be attending for the first time! As a child, going to the air show and seeing all kinds and sorts of planes spanning all the eras of aviation was a dream! To this day, I vividly remember the experience. Jets and propellers reverberating unto my chest and seeing the planes, that we would otherwise only see in books or in videos, in person and in action! One of my favorite action displays at the CAF Wings Over Houston Air Show are the U.S Navy Blue Angels ! I had the honor to see them in action the first time I attended and will be seeing them again in a few short weeks ( October 22nd and 23rd 2016). I'm really excited to see the daring and close proximity flight maneuvers by the highly skilled pilots of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels ! Be ready to experience a sonic boom by one of the F-18 flyovers!! It's unforgettable!

This is one of the largest and most dramatic displays of the Wings Over Houston Air Show and you are in for a treat! This is a reenactment but feels so real! Won't spoil too much but the picture surely speaks more than a thousand words!

As an avid aviation enthusiast, the iconic P-51 Mustang was a plane that I fell in love with and was more than thrilled to have seen not just one, but four of them, including a P-51D variation in flying conditions! One of my faves and they have so many other historic planes such as world war II bombers  that will be attending!

Heritage Flight

The CAF Wings Over Houston Air Show will have one of the few displays this year of the heritage flight! You surely don't want to miss this, as it features a static display as well as a flyover that celebrates american aviation history. You will find the F-35A Lightning II leading the flight formation! This display is truly one of the most anticipated moments of the Air Show!
