Wow! Let's start the conversation like that. That's exactly how I felt when I arrived at curbside and walked through the majestic doors. This place is splendid and the most beautiful building in San Antonio. And for those that have followed our adventures, we go to San Antonio quite often! Hotel Valencia is one of the top places in San Antonio, and the only Hotel on that list. Hotel Valencia just went through a multi-million dollar renovation and the whole building feels so welcoming. We arrived from Houston, and I wanted to take a quick power nap but seeing the water fountain, the walls, the decor, and the room we were going to be staying in just kept me from going to sleep! I love traveling with my family and seeing my daughter look around her in awe and enjoy our quality family time.

The first thing we did once we got our room was to take pictures and drink a chilled bottle of wine that was waiting for us there! What a way to be welcomed I must say! We took some pictures, played with Camila on the bed, walked the patio right outside the patio doors, and then got ready to go to dinner. The Hotel has a locally sourced Argentinian restaurant named Dorrego's and being able to enjoy some chicken milanese and smoked short rib ravioli, on the patio overlooking the historic San Antonio Riverwalk made our family trip complete! It was a great view, with great mariachi band music, and enjoying time together in one of the most beautiful buildings in San Antonio.

My wife and I love to travel and explore new places. We had never stayed at a hotel in San Antonio despite the multiple times we go there, but this was and is the best place to stay at. I really don't see any other place that could beat Hotel Valencia. You have culture, luxury,  a great 5-star restaurant, great customer service, all on the Riverwalk ! The decor inside is awesome! You run into 4 decorated bull skulls as you walk into the elevator area and you can find a lot of cultural art and some awesome wall decor. This was one of my favorite walls. The patio outside our room was very peaceful and quiet. Perfect for going out to read your favorite book or sip on your morning coffee. During the evening, the wall waterfall becomes illuminated with flames and creates a beautiful ambience. Mila also loved to play with the water in the morning, as you can see in the vlog below!

This was an experience that really opened our minds to the beauty of San Antonio and that there is so much more that this city has to offer. But one thing remains the same, Hotel Valencia has to be one, if not the most, beautiful place in all of San Antonio. You walk in through the doors and you, yourself can feel like a million bucks. It really is that beautiful and I invite you to make a stop at this place next time you're looking for a place to stay in San Antonio!
