I know the weather here in Houston feels like every other season except winter. This makes it hard for some to catch the holiday spirit. We don't get snow (except for a few rare occasions), we don't have a true winter you can say, and some are lucky enough to have their neighbors decorate their homes with christmas lights and other decor. But one thing we all surely do is wear our holiday outfits!

The streets are lined with lights, the christmas trees are covered with ornaments, and our faces full of joy. Make sure you enjoy your kids, expecially those whose kids are on holiday vacation or coming home from college. catch that holiday spirit and share it with your family. You can bake some cookies and eat them by the fire place ( may not want to turn it on though), or you can also make some crafts with the kids to put on the tree!

This season is many people's favorite, as it is for myself, and one of the greatest things to do is to give. Doesn't necesarrily have to be materialistic, it can be things such as spending valuable time with someone, taking the family out to eat, or helping  home-less person stay warm. Along with the many things you'll be doing this season, remember to enjoy what you do and show to tothers what this season is about!

I laid my eyes on this shawl-collar cardigan over at Old Navy and bought it right away. It was perfect for the holidays and also wanted to show off some holiday spirit. Dressed it up a little with the dress chukka boots and silver tie. Go on and show some spirit and rock your outfits , After all, tis' the season to be jolly!
